Infor SyteLEAN is a simple and responsive inventory management tool designed to extend the capabilities of Infor SyteLine.
Designed for items that are regularly purchased or manufactured, it enables manufacturers to calculate optimum inventory levels based on real world sales and usage, crucially, without the complexity associated with MRP/APS.

An extension to Infor SyteLine, SyteLEAN is easy to deploy, and much more straightforward to use than APS/MRP systems. In conjunction with Infor SyteLine, SyteLEAN can help you to right-size your inventory against future demand.
SyteLEAN’s simulation tool allows you to identify item candidates and associated potential cost savings. This not only increases the speed and accuracy of your replenishment processes, but drives efficiencies across the production lifecycle.
Unlike MRP which indicates order requirements, SyteLEAN provides additional detail on inventory status such as excess stock levels. Replenishment is triggered by consumption rather than upcoming demand, resulting in dynamic processes which refine and optimise stock handling. This is based on average daily usage, forecasted usage and usage variability and crucially, factors in safety stock, trigger points and buffers to ensure rigour.
SyteLEAN’s integrated electronic KanBan execution system ensures full and live visibility to optimise productivity and cost savings. It can be combined with MRP/APS to plan each inventory item using the most efficient method for each, integrating the plans in the SyteLine Planner’s Workbench.
Through leveraging KANBAN principles, Infor SyteLEAN automatically replenishes inventory to optimum levels, factoring in variability and average usage, ‘pulling’ the replacement orders when stock levels are consumed.
This not only reduces excess inventory and shortages, but ensures any changes in demand and/or product mix are automatically processed.
